How Elvis Lost His Velvet Voice

How Elvis lost
his velvet voice ...

not a tale to tell
amidst the noise

talent never lies
hunger always dies

ate himself to death
with pill popp'n highs'

a pelvis that did stop
did un-divinely drop

used up all his energies
that sexy soul of Rock

How Elvis lost
his velvet voice ...

not a tale to tell
amidst the noise

girls giving free panties
not worth living for

The Colonel ruling
forsaking; forescore

How Elvis lost
his velvet voice ...

not a tale to tell
amidst the noise

virgin wife no more
no truth at love's door

vows he once swore
before bedding $ whore

How Elvis lost
his velvet voice

not a tale to tell
amidst the noise

little girl; left behind
life was not too kind

emptiness can find
heart dead on rewind

How Elvis lost
his velvet voice

not a tale to tell
amidst the noise

one more mansion
hopeless  to fashion

an imperfect passion
for traitor's to cash in ..

How Elvis lost
his velvet voice

not a tale to tell
amidst the noise.

  3. I started this blog filled with depth of emotion and conscious conviction. I see nary a simple soul who is extending any gratitude of appreciation for my credible and incredible gifts.

I am a creator and here to communicate on the most conscious level.

I am still on facebook and I will probably be coming back to these pure and precious pages, when I am welcomed and feel so inclined.

In the not so meantime, feel free to reveal your heart and speak your truth with kindness and encouragement.

From now on, this loving being .. shows up when love is given, offered and bestowed.

    With Brightness of Being,

    p.s.

Yes, Jeanne, Elvis did 'lose his voice.' With every pound he put on, he did not gain insight. Many harbingers .. sidled up beside his insurmountable beaiuty ... Sadly, he, all too soon, forgot his precious place on this planet, made purer for his purest self, His gifts are many .. still. And, only when we slow down .. may we offer our own. Love K
