Rooted Like Me

As does a tree                  Feb 4th, 2010

 rooted

like me

Remain safe

within

any storm

As does a tree

rooted

like me

Protect her own

without

the norm

As does a tree

rooted

like me

Own her power

silent

beauty given

As does a tree

rooted

like me

Offer love

being

the forgiven

As does a tree

rooted

like me

Fall slowly

dropping

earths misery

As does a tree

rooted

like me

Rise again

energy

free to be.

P.S.

I am able to thank a 'friend' of mine and not unto himself, for bringing life to this poem, once so beautifully brewing within the conscious cauldron's of my soul. Making me now, even more wondrously whole!

Earlier today, my shining son and I overcame a misunderstanding; feelings were hurt and joy was seemingly temporarily lost. Since my beautiful boy chose to not do as I had earlier bade him, it was my task to finish ... I asked a neighboring male admirer and father unto his own, to help me on my immediate and short lasting endeavours of the evening. I was spoken to in a harsh and unbecoming manner and told, "Since I met you, months ago, you have made no progress, at all". As if I AM someone to subject myself to judgement of another who need only learn take care of his own life. No explanation is needed from me. Afterall, he be the biter that has bitten off more than he can chew. For I shall be not a shrew. Yet, a caring individual who forgives many a sad few. Merely by re-making myself anew!!!

P.P.S.

And, in honor of the holy Goddess I AM constantly becoming and in such a becoming manner ... I do wholesomely welcome you to admire, appreciate and salivate over my rising glory from this past fall ...

Hope you enjoy my pretty pic, put in your order for a poster and post your consciousness-raising commentary. Thanks so magically much.
